As a learning and performance consultant, my key talent is looking beyond training to find innovative and strategic solutions to improve on-the-job performance tied to your organization’s bottom line goals.
My career as a training solution provider began with the California School of Professional Psychology, and has progressed to consultancy roles with Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, and other large and medium-sized companies.
That career has its roots in my early experience as a retail manager where I first applied job aids as a means of quickly ramping up entry-level staff. Later, at the dawn of the Internet era, I realized the profound potential of digital knowledge sharing as I lead a team that developed metadata for a large periodicals database.
The challenge to the core value of training brought on by the current economy will be at least as profound as the impact of technology has been over the last 20 years. As unfortunate as the crisis is, I look forward to working with clients to not only address immediate tactical needs but develop value-driven strategies for the long run. |

I live with my wife and daughter on the San Francisco peninsula where I also enjoy offshore sailing.
